Crochet uterus with ligaments.
The uterus was crocheted with cotton yarn. The round and uterosacral ligaments were sewn to the crochet uterus. The baby and pelvis are from a commercial simulator (childbirth graphics).
Pay attention to where to sew the ligaments. The sacrum can be placed on the posterior part of the cervix, and the wide would be approximately 1/3 proximal on the anterior aspect.
The round ligament is inserted in the labia majora, for didactic purposes, we place plastic clamps (the reusable type) and fix it in the obturator foramen.
The uterosacral inserts on the 3rd sacral vertebra.
The Model allows studying anatomy, physiology and mechanism of physiological and pathological delivery.
